Comments

A collection of more than 35 poems by the Japanese-American poet, Yone Noguchi, published in London shortly after he moved there, where he quickly befriended - as he had previously done in San Francisco, Chicago and New York - the local literati. Among them, eleven supplied laudatory blurbs for the advertisement in this work, including William M. Rossetti, Richard Garnett, George Meredith, Thomas Hardy, Andrew Lang, Austin Dobson, and Alice Meynell, who declared "They are really poems, really poetry."
