A scarce collection of essays, letters, and a dialogue on conduct and philosophy by Juliana Yonge, about whom little is recorded. She wrote on theological subjects, and these essays were sufficiently popular to justify this second expanded edition 23 years after the first anonymously published edition. Yonge writes that the essays were taken from her journals and represent "Secret whispers of my own heart. I trust they are harmless, and that, if read, they will be found to contain nothing that can give the slightest offence to the three great articles of our happiness: Reason, Religion, and Virtue."Price: $750.00
