Physical Description

Approximately 20 pieces, each in the holograph of Kay Boyle (1902-1992). The subject of the notes and letters varies between social arrangements, political activism and minor literary matters. Burton Weiss originally met Boyle as an employee of Serendipity Books in Berkeley, and continued the correspondence with her after he became an independent bookseller in 1990. Included are a few snapshots of Burton with Kay Boyle, her daughter Kathy and Burton's partner Elliot Schwartz.
