The second of Trollope’s “Palliser” novels, which chronicles the history of Plantagenet Palliser and his wife, Lady Glencora. This is only the second work by Trollope to be issued in parts. Part X is a second issue, with the month corrected to “October” on the front cover. The front wrapper of each 20 parts has the contemporary signature in pencil of Robert Stone, so that while this parts issue is bound up, it is not a "made up" or "married" set. Copies in parts with the same signature of a contemporary reader on each part are scarce.Price: $950.00
