Comments

A German edition of the second part of Little Women, published in English for use in schools, with a seven-page introduction about Alcott in German by Professor Adolf Müller. This was issued in the series Freytags Sammlung französischer und englischer Schriftsteller. The front endpapers contain advertisements for other titles in the series. Stamp on the title-page of the Lehrer-Bücherei, an educational bookshop. Rare: OCLC lists four copies in all for the four printings (editions) it records.
