CommentsOne of the earliest collaborations between Punch author Gilbert à Beckett (1811-1856) and the great illustrator John Leech (1817-1864), and one of the most popular works of English Victorian comic literature. Variations from Abbey in the advertisements in four parts, but also with inserted ads in two parts not described by Abbey.
