CommentsA tale of murder in a bookbindery by bookbinder Theo Kahle, an Englishman who with his wife Anne Kahle in the early 1970s established Capricornus Bookbindery in Berkeley, California, which was largely a school for teaching bookbinding. Many prominent binders, Philip Dusel and Eleanor Ramsey among them, took classes there. Postcard dated March 13, 1980 laid in: "Dear Steve / A little student effort for your collection. / Sincerely / Theo Kahle." The Steve was D. Steven Corey, special collections librarian at the University of San Francisco and biblio-bon vivant.
