Comments

A special edition of Porter Garnett's play "The Green Knight: A Vision," first published in 1911, the year it was performed at the Bohemian Grove. Garnett directed the play and designed the costumes and stage set. This special edition was also designed by Garnett, and contains a great deal of related material and illustrations about the Bohemian Club productions. Within a year of this being published, Garnett became professor of graphic arts at the Carnegie Institute of Technology in Pittsburgh, PA, where he founded the Laboratory Press. Inscribed on the front free endpaper "To Redfern Mason / with the compliments / of the author / Porter Garnett / Berkeley, California / May 18, 1921."
