¶ A scarce epistolary travel guide to Paris, with extensive descriptions of matters useful to the traveler, including information about museums, theaters, parks, libraries, monuments, etc. The author, who remains known only by the initials "A.R." was a physician in London who spent many months in Paris, involved with hospitals and medical educational institutions, and his 18-page preface is largely comprised of his assessment of the state of the medical profession in Paris.
