Comments

¶ A collection of over 100 popular English songs and catches, assembled by Thomas Hale and sold by subscription. Judging by the size of the list of subscribers (over 600), Social Harmony would appear to have been a success, though copies are uncommon today. Included is music by Henry Purcell, John Blow and Frederick Handel.
