Comments

Inscribed on the front free endpaper "All good wishes to Yehudi Menuhin / from his friend / Albert M. Bender / 1933." Bender (1866-1836) was the legendary San Francisco cultural philanthropist, and he would have naturally been acquainted with the young Yehudi Menuhim, who was raised in San Francisco and performed with the San Francisco Symphony at the age eight.
