Comments¶ A collection of Gaelic poetry translated by Irish scholar and writer Douglas Hyde (1860-1949), with a preface by W. B. Yeats praising Hyde's work. This was the third book of the Dun Emer Press, which later became the Cuala Press. ¶ Bookplates of W. Van R. Whitall and George Frederick Engelbach on the front paste-down, below which is the small booklabel of San Francisco collector Albert Sperisen.
