CommentsA scarce novel by the nephew of Isaiah Thomas who was born in Providence, R.I., but was raised in Charleston, S.C. and spent much of his early career as a journalist, poet and novelist, in Cincinnati. Thomas (1806-1866) later moved to Richmond and Washington, where he befriended and became a close friend of Edgar Allan Poe.
