A posthumous collection of miscellaneous writings by the great and colorful Grub Street author Thomas Brown (1663-1704), including his Characters of Women of the Age, and several previously uncollected dialogues. Brown was sometimes referred to as "Facetious" Brown. Contemporary armorial bookplate on the front paste-down.
