Comments¶ An interesting but bibliographically anomalous set, in a binding that has the appearance of being a remainder binding, but with stab-holes throughout, suggesting this was bound from the original parts issue. It has also been trimmed down somewhat (half an inch at the top and bottom edges; a quarter of an inch at the fore-edges), with red sprinkled edges. Both volumes have yellow coated endpapers of the era, but volume one has the hinges repaired. It was, quite possibly, a set of the parts issue bound in blue cloth for a contemporary owner.
