Comments¶ A collection of short aphoristic poems by the Berkeley poet and naturalist Charles Augustus Keeler (1871-1937), lavishly produced in an arts and crafts style, evocative of William Morris and the Kelmscott Press; printed by Stanley-Taylor (a predecessor to Taylor & Taylor) and published by the San Francisco bookseller A. M. Robertson. Charles Keeler was an active member of the Bay Area literati and bohemian scene. An interesting example of California book arts emulating the English book arts.
